Support and Contact

If you are in immediate danger, or you cannot keep yourself or someone else safe right now, please do not wait for an email reply. Contact your local emergency services.

Urgent support in the United Kingdom

Immediate danger to you or anyone else — call 999, or go to your nearest A&E.

Urgent mental-health support that is not an emergency — call NHS 111 and choose the mental-health option.

Thoughts of suicide or self-harm — Samaritans, free, at any hour, on 116 123.

Sexual thoughts or behaviour involving a child, or you have encountered illegal material — Stop It Now UK, confidential, on 0808 1000 900. Do not save, describe or forward that material to anyone, including us. If a child is at immediate risk, call 999.

Threats, blackmail or coercion — the police on 101, or 999 in immediate danger. Do not pay, and do not handle it alone.

These are UK routes. If you are elsewhere, your local emergency number and services apply.

Ongoing support

For most people the GP is the right starting point. You do not need to describe anything in detail to be taken seriously. Saying that you have a compulsive behaviour you cannot control and that it is affecting your life is enough to begin.

Needing more than a book is not a failure of effort, sincerity or faith. Some difficulties respond to structure; others need assessment by someone qualified.

For questions about your order, a download that will not open, or anything about the material itself, email us at nafscontrolteam@gmail.com. We usually reply within two working days.

Please note: we are not scholars, psychologists or clinicians, and we cannot give religious rulings, clinical advice or crisis support by email. For those, please use the routes above.
